Then check out our weight reduction modification for the Razer Viper Mini. The stock base weighs in at 11.3 grams, and the new base is 3.6 grams for a weight reduction of 7.7 grams. In addition, the new base also fixes the high lift off distance that many do not like about the Viper Mini. The new LOD is roughly 1.25mm in our testing.

Installation is fairly easy with a #000 phillips screwdriver. There are only eight screws to remove.

In the event that you want to remove the modification it is completely reversible. The old base can simply be reinstalled and the mouse is back to original.
